Creating Your Logo

My plans for my logo was to have "The Grid" written in a font that I chose and have a camera in the top right hand corner of the logo. I chose the font from da font which is a website that allows me to download fonts into photoshop where I made my logo. My logo stayed the same from my planning as I liked the idea of the camera in the top right and I chose the font in the planning stage which didn't change when I was making it. When in photoshop I put a white glow on to the text of my logo I tried this to see what it would look like, I liked it so I continued to use it. I was happy with my logo as I think it fits the brief and the target audience well. It is easy to remember and it links with the Ident which will make it stick in the audiences mind.I think it fits the brief because of the font I chose, it isn't too formal nor to informal which means it fits with the age range of 18-30 year olds. When creating my logo finding the picture of a cartoon camera was hard because I had to find on that looked right for the logo and one that wasn't to complicated.
