Uploading And Exporting My Music Video

Uploading:

When uploading my footage to the Mac it allowed me to see the type of footage I had. This was the first really time I got to see the actual footage I had. Once I had imported the footage into IMovie I imported it to final cut which allows me to edit the music video a lot easier then IMovie. As final cut has layer it allows me to put every performance shot on a different layer so that I have to match it to the song once. This then allows me to edit between the performance shots and the narrative shots with ease as I don't need to synch the shots anymore. Using this technique it allowed me to get a good quick pace to the video.

Exporting:

When exporting the music video for the final time, I used Quick Time Conversions, this gave me the best quality video I could using Final Cut. Once I had finished exporting my music video I could then upload it to YouTube. This opened up the door to me as I could then do much more things with the music video. I could show it to the client and get feedback from them without having to meet them. I could also show it to a select audience which could give me feedback. If there was a lot of things which my client and the target audience gave me then I would have made a fourth draft with all the improvements.
