To create our New look advert we had to take around 52 photos and put them all in to Imovie HD. Before we put them in to Imovie HD we watched the original video which helped give us ideas for photos, then we made a list of the photos that we wanted to take. Once we had a rough idea of the images we wanted to capture, we went out and started to take the photos we needed. 52 photos later we had all the photos we needed so came back to the class room and imported them into Iphoto. Once they were in Iphoto we quit it and opened Imovie HD, we didn't need to import them into Imovie because Iphoto automatically does it for us. we them had to fiddle about trying to get the right time for the clips. Then when this was done we went to youtube and used keep vid to download the original video so that we could extract the audio in Imovie. We then released that all of our clips were to long so once we had changed all of the clips length we saved our work and exported it. After exporting our work we uploaded it to youtube so that we could access it from other computers.
The producer wouldn't of had it so easy as us. He would of had to deal with a lot more such as paying for models and getting the pictures in the right focus and in the right place in the image. However it could have been a lot easier if the producer already had the photos taken which means he would only had to edit them in the right order after putting then in to the editing software. The producer would have been a lot more strict with him self as he would have made every photo be in the right place and make them all go with the music. But with out the photos he would have more work like getting the right pictures and items that they used in there video.
